Teen store clerk finds mom’s credit card when thief tries to use it

It’s the stuff of small towns: Teenager steals credit card and tries to use it in the store where the clerk is not only his former classmate, but the daughter of the woman whose card he stole.

Joshua Devonshire, 19, is being held on bail in Manor Township, Pa.
The Associated Press reports the store clerk noticed her mother’s name on the card when Devonshire tried to use it. Realizing his old classmate had caught on, Devonshire fled and tried to slip the card back into his victim’s car.

When authorities caught up with him, they also recovered other stolen items.
