Tattoos for trucks

For 12 hours one Saturday, two employees of the Black Ink tattoo shop in Coatesville etched ink into the flesh of as many people as possible. All in the name of good health. Owner John Black and a fellow employee were raising funds for friend Dave Butler, who  was hit by a drunk driver just days before Thanksgiving.

Butler, a truck driver, was assisting a disabled vehicle in Valley when he was struck, and ended up in a coma. Now, as Butler learns how to walk again, Black and others have set up the Dave Butler Fund, to help pay for medical coverage and make up for Butler’s missing salaries from his two jobs.

Anyone can make a donation at a Citadel Federal Credit Union branch.
