Taste testing food from Delaware’s sister state in Japan
Food from Delaware’s sister state in Japan will be featured in a showcase today in Dover.
As part of an economic exchange agreement with Miyagi Prefecture in Japan, Dover Downs is hosting the Delicious Healthy Miyagi Event this afternoon. Business and government leaders from Miyagi will be on hand offering dishes featuring Miyagi’s sake, miso, and other brewed products prepared by the chefs from Wasan Restaurant and the chef from Dover Downs. Delaware companies will be able to take their products to Japan for a similar tasting event at a date to be determined.
