    Mayor Nutter offered a more uplifting reflection the benefits of power today as he announced there was enough money to send two Philadelphia Pop Warner football teams to Florida for their championship.

    He’d had a rough week battling over business tax reform in City Council, and wrestling with whether a public space could be called Christmas Village.

    But helping these young kids and their families, he said, is what makes holding office worth the effort.
