Suspects wanted for Torresdale pharmacy robbery [video]
Two determined burglars are sought for the May 5 break-in at Delaire Pharmacy in Torresdale [map].
Surveillance cameras witnessed the men’s attempt to break into the pharmacy’s back door, and their successful attempt to ge through the front door around 10:30 p.m. Once inside, one suspect disabled the alarm and took pills, while the other remained in the car. The two fled when they heard via a police scanner that officers were on the way.
The were driving a red 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with factory spoke wheels. The suspects are both white men. One has a stocky build and wore a black baseball hat, dark hoodie and black shorts. The other wore a black hoodie and dark pants. Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to submit tips online, by phone at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or by text at PPDTIP (773847).
