Suspect sought in Frankford bank robbery

Fresh off a bank robbery in Mayfair last week, police in the 15th District are now looking the man who robbed a Frankford Wells Fargo.

Monday, the suspect entered the bank at 5119 Frankford Ave. around 5 p.m. and used a threatening note to demand money from the teller. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years of age and 5’6″ with a medium build. At the time of the robbery, he had a beard and was wearing a green jacket with a fur hood and a dark-colored baseball hat. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to submit a tip online,  call 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.
