Suspect arrested for Dover murder

Dover Police say a man is behind bars charged with murdering another man.  Both were romantically linked to a woman who was a neighbor of the victim.

47-year-old Alan Hufford was found in a field behind his home on Kentwood Drive over the weekend.  Police say he had been stabbed several times and his throat was slashed.

According to detectives, Hufford has been involved in an argument with 46-year-old Donald Lake of Lincoln, Delaware before the incident.  The dispute reportedly involved their relationship with the same woman.

Hufford was pronounced dead at the scene.
