    A Mother’s Day miracle?

Tomorrow is the pick of the weekend as forecasters expect skies to gradually clear, leading to improvements during the afternoon.

First, it’s another day of mostly cloudy skies as a low pressure system continues to meander over the area, according to the National Weather Service.

There might be some breaks of sun during the afternoon, and the chance of showers will decrease. NOAA is calling for a 30% chance of precipitation. High temperatures will remain in the 50s.

The system will begin to dissipate and will get forced out to sea tonight as a cold front passes through the region. There’s a 20% chance of showers overnight, according to NOAA.

After another slight chance of showers during the morning tomorrow, the National Weather Service expects fair and breezy conditions during the afternoon, with a northwest wind gusting up to 35 miles per hour during the afternoon and temperatures reaching the middle to upper 60s.
