This week Newark Mayor Cory Booker filed papers to run in the 2014 U.S. Senate race in New Jersey. He’s seeking fellow Democrat Sen. Frank Lautenberg’s seat. But 88-year-old Lautenberg has not indicated any plans to retire from the Senate. So for now we’re looking at a powerhouse Democratic primary fight.
