Strangers pull woman to safety when her car becomes stuck on Del. train tracks

A woman driving through Newark, Del., this morning was saved by two strangers when her car became stuck on train tracks around New London Road and West Main Street.

As the driver stayed in the car while her passenger tried to help push it from the tracks, two passers by came over to help, ultimately pulling the driver from the car as a train approached.

And good thing they did, because a westbound CSX train hit the car, sending it off the tracks and severely damaging the back. We’ve got photos of the damage.
