Stormy Tuesday ahead; unsettled through Thursday

A stormy afternoon looms for Tuesday, forecasters say.

A low pressure system in Canada will push a weakening front through the area during the afternoon and evening hours, according to the National Weather Service.

The unsettled weather will last through Thursday due to the combination of two systems to the north, the service says.

“A few of the storms on Tuesday and Thursday could be strong with gusty winds, small hail, and heavy rain,” the service advises in a Hazardous Weather Outlook.

Conditions then improve for Friday and into the weekend, as high pressure begins to influence the region, according to the service.
