State Trooper fatally shoots man in Camden

    State Police say a New Jersey State Trooper shot and killed a man in what appears to be an interrupted drug deal in Camden last night.

    According to Philly.com, the state trooper approached a parked car around 7 p.m. at Baird and Admiral Wilson Boulevards. State Police say the car backed up at one point, with an open door striking the trooper.

    According to State Police, the trooper fired and killed one of the people in the car. Another man inside of the car fled the scene.

    Philly.com says the trooper was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and released.
