Standing-room-only for Meehan’s community event
Rep. Patrick Meehan’s third “Congressman in your Community” drew a big crowd to Marple Township Municipal Building. The standing-room-only crowd asked questions about health care and foreign relations.
The Upper Darby congressman spent a portion of the hour talking in detail about the state budget and the House’s role in it. Meehan also took questions about Social Security, focusing on long-term goals. The Delco Times has video.
