Spectrum bricks among most popular souvenirs

The Spectrum is almost gone. After seats and other inside souvenirs were sold off before demolition, there are still plenty of people willing to buy the scraps.
Pieces of the basketball court and hockey glass were pretty popular, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports. So were coasters made with Spectrum ice. But part of the $1.5 million in gross souvenir sales came from selling off several thousand bricks. Bricks. As in those nondescript red blocks any homeowner undertaking a remodel would be happy to give you for free. To each his own.
