South Jersey town receive Block Grants for improvements

    Towns and counties throughout New Jersey will share $7 million in funding as part of the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant program.

    Several South Jersey municipalities will benefit from the money, which the Department of Community Affairs announced today.

    Palmyra
    Gloucester City
    Cape May City
    Lower Township
    Middle Township
    Wildwood
    Penns Grove
    Burlington City
    Woodbine
    Commercial Township
    Riverside
    Dover
    Sea Isle City
    Montague
    Woodstown
    Warren County
    SalemCounty
    Cape May County

    Lower Township will receive $700,000 for two projects, while other grants range from $100,000 to $500,000. The money will be used for things like infrastructure improvement, housing rehabilitation and ADA compliance.
