Snow, sleet causes slow going on roads

The Delaware Valley’s traffic agencies are reporting all kinds of trouble on the roads this morning. It’s the area’s first real snowfall of the season (that October aberration notwithstanding!), certainly 2012’s first.

PennDOT is reporting a major accident northbound on I-95 near the Walt Whitman Bridge, so be careful out there.

DelDOT has crews out plowing and salting roads, and reports that traffic has slowed on the Delaware Memorial Bridge to about 20 mph.

And New Jersey authorities are reporting plenty of traffic accidents throughout the Garden State, as well.
