Snow delays and closings
All School District of Philadelphia schools are closed and all administrative offices will open two hours late. In addition, the regularly scheduled School Reform Commission public meeting scheduled for 2 p.m. today is canceled.
Due to storm conditions, SEPTA buses on Route 27 will only make stops on Ridge Avenue.
The Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center is closed.
All classes are canceled at Philadelphia University and all administrative offices are closed.
Roxborough YMCA has a three-hour delayed opening. The branch will open at 8 a.m.
Green Woods Charter School in Roxborough is closed.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center in East Falls has a delayed opening and will open at noon.
The City of Philadelphia declared a snow emergency last night at 9 p.m. putting into effect parking bans on designated roads. Also trash and recycling collections will be delayed one day beginning today (Weds 1/12).
