Slushy and slippery weather causes delays

Advice for this morning’s commute: BE CAREFUL.
Some snow accumulation last night topped with freezing rain has created a mess on the roadways, sidewalks, and any other outdoor surface you can think of.
Some flights are delayed at PHL (check yours here), and at last count 435 schools are cancelled or closed (check NBC10’s listings here).
Delays on SEPTA are all but certain, so plan accordingly.
As temperatures rise and non-freezing rain washes away the ice and snow, the situation should see all-around improvement in the next few hours.
