Slots revenue down at Philadelphia-area casinos

Slots revenues are down from this time last year for Philadelphia’s two nearby casinos.

While Fishtown’s SugarHouse has no comparables, since it just opened in the Fall, Harrah’s of Chester and Parx in Bensalem both reported a decline from June 2010.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports Parx saw a 5 percent decline from last year and Harrah’s slots revenue dropped 9 percent. They pulled in $29.8 million and $21.3 million, respectively. SugarHouse had $13 million in revenue.
