Skate park

Skaters and bikers alike will have a tricked out park in Medford by summer. Freedom Park ‘s dilapidated wooden ramps will be replaced to the tune of $300,000.

The renovated space will have safer, longer-lasting concrete ramps, and will open to BMX riders in addition to the native skaterboarders.

The Burlington County Times reports the Municipal Park Development Assistance Program supplied a $250,000 grant, with the rest of the money coming from savings in the township’s budget.
