Sixers employee on his way to T-shirt-wearing record

As of today, Harvey Pollack has word 3,000 T-shirts.

Not all at once, but consecutively. Pollack, the ’76ers director of statistical information, is on his way to being in the Guinness Book of World Record for wearing a new T-shirt every day for the most days in a row.

Today marks 3,000, and though Pollack says he already owns the record since no such milestone exists, he hasn’t finished wearing all his shirts yet.

So how does he keep track? Since June 28, 2003, Pollack has been keeping his already-worn shirts in a separate room from his not-yet-worn shirts. He also keeps a spreadsheet of the date and number of each shirt, plus marks each shirt individually.
