Singer will replace Tartaglione as city commissioners chair

There are signs of change in the city commissioners office.

Heard in the Hall reports newly elected Commissioner Stephanie Singer will be the office’s next chair — a position formerly held by long-time Commissioner Marge Tartaglione.

That, and the office’s advisory group, were discussed at a morning press conference with Singer, fellow Democrat and incumbent Commissioner Anthony Clarke, and newly elected Republican Commissioner Al Schmidt. The advisory group will help with the office’s transition.
