‘Significant delays’ expected as Amtrak suspends service between Philly and NYC

    Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New York City has been temporarily suspended due to a downed wires.

    Service was interrupted about an hour ago, and though repairs are underway, Amtrak has advised passengers to expect “significant delays.”

    Update, 12 p.m. Service has been restored to two of the four tracks between the two cities, but delays continue as things get moving again.
