Sicklerville skunk tests positive for rabies

A skunk found last Wednesday in Sicklerville, N.J., has tested positive for rabies.

Patch reports Camden County issued a statement Tuesday out of Winslow Township saying there was no known human contact with the infected animal.

This makes two rabid skunks for the county in less than a month. The county confirmed Aug. 16 that a skunk in Cherry Hill Township had also tested positive. Both skunks had come into contact with dogs.
