Shutting up your inner critic

    For many of us, it’s easy to be kind to our partners, our children, or friends. But what about your relationship with yourself? Do you treat yourself with kindness, or are you quick to be self-critical and judgmental? New research shows that “Self-Compassion” has implications for weight loss, health and general well-being. WHYY’s Behavioral Health reporter Maiken Scott spoke with psychologist Dan Gottlieb.
