Should you have to pass a test to be allowed to vote?

    Anyone can vote. That’s the beauty and potential disaster of American democracy. That’s what keep politicians up at night worrying they’ll get a low ballot position. That’s what makes match-ups like the Nutter, Street, Knox, Street mayoral watch so interesting.

    Should you have to pass a test to vote?

    It’s a question a CNN op-ed posed recently, suggesting people be required to pass the U.S. Naturalization Test before voting. The Daily Constitution Center reviewed the Constitution, and yep, it’s OK to require a voter test.
