Shooting at Christiana Mall
An accused shoplifter opened fire at a security guard in a parking lot outside of Macy’s.
The incident happened around noon today at the Christiana Mall’s south parking lot. State Police say two suspects had been observed shop lifting and were being followed by a security guard. When the guard confronted one of the men in the parking lot, one of them shot at the guard with a hand gun, but missed. Both men ran, but were captured a short time later on Route 7 in Christiana.
