A serial bank robber remains on the loose in Philadelphia.

The same man appears to be responsible for six incidents in the city over two weeks, said FBI Special Agent J.J. Klaver.

“While he’s not displayed a weapon, he has made threatening demands of the tellers with notes,” Klaver said Friday. “And, obviously, any time you have had anyone who’s robbed so many banks in such a short period of time, that’s showing us a level of desperation that really worries us.”

Klaver said there is nothing unusual about the robberies.

“In four of the robberies, he has obtained cash and fled. In two of them, they were attempted robberies where he fled the bank before obtaining any cash,” Klaver said.

Klaver describes the robber as black with a medium complexion, in his 30s and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He who wore glasses in all but one incident.
