SEPTA to credit pass-holders inconvenienced by Sandy suspensions

SEPTA pass-holders affected by the transit agency’s service suspension during Hurricane Sandy are eligible for a credit on their next pass purchase.

Beginning Monday, those with weekly and monthly passes can turn in their current cards (for the week of Oct. 29 or month of October) and purchase their next pass.SEPTA will credit those customers to cover the two-day service interruption during Sandy.

Depending on the type of pass, customers can expect to save between $5 and $15.25. Those who receive passes through their employers or pre-tax programs can submit for their credit by mail.
