Everything you could ever want to know about the smart card — according to SEPTA — is now online. To prepare for its April 1 smart card open house, the authority has launched a website detailing the project, NewsWorks partner PlanPhilly reports.
The site shows someone at SEPTA has a sense of humor. Included in the “Resource Center” is a clip of Seinfeld character George Costanza’s busting wallet. The point being you won’t need to stuff your wallet with tokens, transpasses and cards if you don’t want to; you could pay with your cell phone.
