SEPTA expands weekend service to Delaware

The Philadelphia Flower show opens Sunday.  So does expanded rail service from Delaware.

The mass transit operator will offer train service from Claymont and Wilmington.  This expands SEPTA service in Delaware to 7 days.  SEPTA will operate the rail service under an agreement with Delaware DART.  Trains will run on the same schedule as Saturday trains.  Schedules can be seen on the SEPTA website.

The two parties had planned to offer the extended service in the spring, but decided the flower show would be a good time to kick off the service.
