SEPTA board plans route changes in city and suburbs

Some bus routes in Delaware and Bucks county will be discontinued, SEPTA’s board has decided in exchange for other new and altered loops.

At a recent meeting, the board voted on changes to several routes, which include the discontinuation of suburban routes 95, 304 and 314. New routes will instead server parts of the old loops.

PlanPhilly has the complete list of changes from SEPTA, though the authority is holding off on some plans due to lack of funding.

The Broad Street C bus service will extend two blocks south to better connect with the AT&T subway station, but a Route 44 spur connecting Center City and the Cynwyd regional rail station will be eliminated due to lack of use.
