Senator wants Christie to veto “Jersey Shore” tax credit

Well that didn’t take very long.

After yesterday’s announcement of a tax credit for the production of MTV’s Jersey Shore, N.J. Sen. Joe Vitale wants Gov. Chris Christie to veto the credit. Tax payers are forking over $420,000 for the show.

Vitale, a frequent critic of the show, told NJ.com, “It is disparaging to Italian Americans. He should veto it.” Christie has not yet responded to the Dem’s request, though this is one of the first credits approved since Christie suspended the program last year.
