The New York Times says several new businesses in Mt. Airy show the community still embraces its liberal views. The story in the Times’ Travel Section is quite brief in profiling Mainly Shoes & More, Earth – Bread + Brewery, Food for All, and The Wine Thief. Writer Zach Pontz suggests that these businesses stand in contrast to its “monochromatic neighbor” Chestnut Hill.
