Security officers will rally for sexual harassment protection

U.S. Security Associates secures more than a dozen Philadelphia locations like St. Christopher’s, Hahnemann and the Art Institute.

Officers from some of those locations will rally tomorrow because they say the contractor “has a record of sexual harassment across the nation,” according to SEIU Local 32BJ.

They’ll march outside of the Art Institute tomorrow with State Rep. Kenyatta Johnson and Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown to speak out against the company’s alleged practices.

Local 32BJ cites in its announcement of the march a case of two female employees allegedly terminated after filing sexual harassment complaints. The rally is scheduled for 2:45 p.m.
