Seasonable weather ahead this weekend
A mainly comfortable weekend is ahead at the Jersey Shore.
A cold front is currently working its way through the area, and clouds will begin to give way to more sunshine throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
Compared to yesterday, temperatures are more comfortable, rising to seasonable highs around 70 degrees at the Jersey Shore. Under mostly clear skies, overnight lows will drop down to aroud 50 degrees.
High pressure will begin moving into the area tonight, leading to drier and slightly cooler temperatures. Highs will reach the upper 60s tomorrow.
All in all, a perfect early fall day is in store for tomorrow.
The ocean temperature’s in the lower 70s, and there’s a moderate risk of rip currents tomorrow and possibly Sunday, so exercise caution while swimming.
