School bus, transit bus collide in Philadelphia, injuring 6

Six people, including four children, are hurt after a school bus backed into a transit bus during the morning rush hour in West Philadelphia.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority says the students and two passengers from transit bus are being checked for non-life threatening injuries from Wednesday morning’s crash.

The agency’s system status webpage says Route 31 buses are continuing to run on schedule after the 8:10 a.m. crash at the intersection of Warren and Fairmount streets.
