Volunteers spread out through Northwest Philadelphia on Monday to participate in acts of service to celebrate the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 

Throughout the city, more than 130,000 volunteers gathered for various projects including block clean-ups, beautification projects, books drives and more.
