Say That Again?

Joe Biden’s appearance in Philadelphia today is reason enough to revive the Incomprehensible Politician Watch, in which we flag inscrutable statements from public officials.

In case you missed it, the audio clip above is from Biden’s October speech for congressional candidate Bryan Lentz. He was explaining the goal of the Obama administration’s domestic policies, or something.

While you’re pondering that one, consider the following sentence which began a press release issued today by Philadelphia City Councilman Curtis Jones:

“Everything new does not glitter or turn State policy into gold.”

I think he was referring to the downside of bouncing Philadelphia State Rep. Dwight Evans from a leadership post in Harrisburg.

Send me your own Incomprehensible Politician submission, and I’ll give you full credit in Off Mic.
