Roy Rogers says he was lucky during Superstorm Sandy because his home in Surf City was spared. But it was hard for him to feel happy because so many of others on Long Beach Island were not so lucky.

Rogers was one of 60 people who participated in WHYY’s Ready for Next Time? Rethinking the Shore After Sandy forums. It was held at our studios on Monday, July 15, 2013. During each session we set up our “Two Minute Testimonial” video booth. This gives anyone a chance to share their thoughts about the Jersey shore.

Our next event is Tues, July 30, 2013
