The Roxborough Development Corporation has launched Roxborough 2020 — a neighborhood survey designed to help determine the future of the neighborhood.

The organization is looking for ideas from residents and local business owners about how to shape the Ridge Avenue commercial corridor in the upcoming years.

“This input will prove essential to help identify strategic goals, projects and tasks to implement over the next five years,” says RDC Executive Director James Calamia.

Four survey participants will recieve a $50 Visa gift card.

Samantha Bridge, RDC’s marketing and communications director, says some of the survey results will be released on Twitter as they come in using the #Roxborough2020 hashtag.

So far, she says the response has been strong.

“Since our launch, the response so far has been fantastic including constructive feedback, tough criticism as well as insights we would have not received elsewhere.”
