Roxborough 7-11 robbed of money, lottery tickets at gunpoint

Police are seeking suspects who robbed a 7-11 in Roxborough on Sunday, June 29. 

Accordng to police, two unknown males entered the 7-11 at 7607 Ridge Ave. at 3:05 a.m.  One was armed with a handgun, which the suspects pointed at a store employee — a 64-year-old male — who they then forced to the floor and demanded money from. 

One of the suspects jumped over the counter and took assorted lottery tickets. The armed suspect then forced the employee behind the counter to open the cash register. He took $300 and lottery tickets before both suspects fled the store on foot. 

They were last seen going south on Ridge Avenue.

The first suspect is described as a 5’8″-5’10” male of an unknown race with a medium build. He was wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, gray jeans, black and white sneakers with a distinct pattern, a white bandana which covered his face, and was carrying a black/gray shoulder bag

The second suspect is described as a 6’0″ white male with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, a dark-colored short sleeve shirt with light-colored long sleeves, army green pants, and a blue and white bandana which covered his face.
