Rowan University opens planetarium to the public for evening viewing

Ever see Venus? How ’bout Jupiter?

You can see them both from Glassboro, N.J., later this week when Rowan University’s Edelman Planetarium hosts an open house.

Guests at the free event will spend the evening at the observatory to check out the moon, planets and other celestial objects.

Dress warm, remind your kids to look without touching and check the planetarium’s website that day to make sure the weather is right for the viewing.
