Route 100 crash injures 3, shuts down road for more than hour Friday morning

    A portion of Route 100 was closed Friday for more than an hour after a crash that injured three people in South Coventry.

    The Pottstown Mercury reports the crash happened Friday morning at the Embreeville barracks.

    According to state police, the car was traveling north on Route 100 around 6 a.m. when it apparently slid on ice covering the highway near Flowing Springs Road.

    The car traveling northbound then hit another vehicle.
