Rite Aid robbery suspect caught

Alan Pierece, formerly of the Northeast and wanted for a string of Rite Aid robberies, was arrested yesterday.  Police picked up the 39-year-old in Chester, and he will be charged with four robberies, three of which occurred in the Northeast.

The most recent happened Monday, when Pierce robbed the Rite Aid at 7941 Oxford Avenue in Fox Chase.

Aside from the four counts of robbery he faces, Pierce will be charged with aggravated assault and other related crimes.
