Rita’s plays guessing games with mysterious water ice flavor
At the Rita’s Water Ice at 239 South Street, employee Alexis Harris just found out the identity of the company’s new secret flavor — but she’s not sharing.
“Papaya!” guesses Mary Immer of Society Hill.
Harris stares blankly.
“And she tells us nothing with her face!” says Immer, laughing.
Papaya, raspberry and casaba melon are just some of flavors guessed by patrons of Rita’s new flavor. The company is inviting patrons to try a sample and submit via facebook message their best guesses for a chance to win free water ice for a year or even an iPad.
Guesses can be messaged into Rita’s official facebook page until Aug. 22, when the identity of the mysterious flavor will be revealed.
