Reward offered in arrest of subway fire-starter

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who started a fire at a Broad Street Line station Tuesday. The flaming backpack resulted in $25,000 worth of damages.

The fire at the Girard Avenue stop didn’t result in any injuries, but an investigation has revealed the fire was intentionally set, Action News reports.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (1-888-283-3473) is offering the reward.
