New Jersey State Police are expected to resume their search for a man who fell through the ice while riding his ATV in a quarry.

Police were called about 5:15 p.m. Sunday to the Wards Sand Quarry, which spans Woodland and Tabernacle in Burlington County.

Identified by friends as Phillip Raimondo of Shamong Township, Fox 29 reports, the missing man was part of a group riding on the quarry. He fell while attempting to cross an iced-over waterway.

A New Jersey State Police dive team was unable to locate the rider, according to a report in the Burlington County Times. The search was then called off due to darkness.
