Report: Philadelphia District Attorney’s office pays ‘party planner’ employee $75,900

Who knew party planning paid so well?

A report on the Philly Post today says the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office employs a “director of community engagement and employee enrichment.” Sources at the office call her a party planner. And she makes $75,900.
Monique Wescott coordinates the office’s fundraising efforts, and her high salary and big office are rubbing some coworkers the wrong way. The City Controller’s office thinks it’s strange, too, that her official title of “administrative assistant” earns her such a high pay.
