An investigation is underway after a body was discovered last night in an Ocean County state park, authorities said.

Police responded to the area of Pinewald-Keswick Road and Double Trouble Road in Double Trouble State Park after a man walking his dog discovered Scott Bennett, 28, of Long Branch, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Al Della Fave told Patch.

Bennett’s body was found by a tree, and authorities, who are conducting a toxicology test, do not suspect foul play, the report said.

JSHN contributors reported a heavy police presence in the area last night.
